Episode 009: Bryan Keplesky

Bryan Keplesky met in downtown Austin to talk about moving to Austin and finding his way as a designer, how he co-founded Misprint Magazine, his work for Fun Fun Fun Fest, and much more. Bryan has a realistic, professional approach to design, but still manages to find passion projects where he gets to make great creative work.

Bryan has been helping to define Austin's design aesthetic since 2004. Before that, he went to school and began his cdesign career in Richmond, Virginia, where he studied communication design, art history and creative writing at Virginia Commonwealth University.

Now, Mr. Keplesky works out of his own studio on some of the coolest projects in town. He is a co-founder of Misprint Magazine, the designer behind the Birds Barbershop brand, and has had a major influence on the design for Fun Fun Fun Fest.
